David W. Parker co-founded Bald Mountain Development in 1999. Prior to founding Bald Mountain Development Mr. Parker was a Vice President of the Hines development group. Hines is an international development firm headquartered in Houston, with six regional offices (Atlanta, Aspen, Chicago, Houston, New York, San Francisco) as well as offices in eleven foreign countries. Before opening the Aspen office of Hines, Mr. Parker was with the Midwest office where he oversaw the development of large scale commercial projects. Mr. Parker's responsibilities with Hines in Aspen covered Hines resort projects and included project acquisitions, entitlements, planning, development, construction, and operations. Mr. Parker is active in the community and is on the Board of the Aspen Valley Land Trust. Mr. Parker has a Bachelors and Masters degree from Stanford University. Scott Writer co-founded Bald Mountain Development in 1999. Prior to Bald Mountain, Mr. Writer was with Hines, an international development firm headquartered in Houston, with six regional offices (Atlanta, Aspen, Chicago, Houston, New York, San Francisco) as well as offices in eleven foreign countries. Mr. Writer's principal responsibilities with Hines included development of River Valley Ranch, a 685-unit golf course community in Carbondale, Colorado. Mr. Writer has also developed several successful residential developments in the Roaring Fork Valley as the president of the Carbondale Land Development Corporation. Since 1986 Mr. Writer has maintained an active Colorado real estate license and owned, or managed several brokerage entities since that time. Mr. Writer is managing partner of StillWater Preservation, LLC, an environmentally oriented company involved in real estate related industries such as wetland mitigation banking, resource mitigation banking and land banking. Mr. Writer is very active in community volunteer work. Mr. Writer has a Bachelors degree from the University of Colorado. Kelly Foster Prior to joining Bald Mountain, Mr. Foster was primarily in high tech sales and marketing in Silicon Valley, with real estate development as a sideline. Mr. Foster was instrumental in the successful building of several Silicon Valley startups from inception to public offering. In 2003 Mr. Foster began to concentrate more of his efforts in real estate development and is currently heading up all of Bald Mountain's projects in Idaho. Mr. Foster has a Bachelors degree from Stanford University. Steven Conger joined Bald Mountain Development in 2006,
where he serves as lead design architect and master planner. Mr.
Conger is the owner of Steven Conger Architects PC, which
specializes in the design of luxury homes, environmental
centers, and resorts. His 25-year architectural history
includes being named in the AD 100 - Architectural Digest’s
guide to 100 distinguished architects of the world. Mr.
Conger was the architect for the award winning Inn of the
Anasazi in Santa Fe, NM. Additionally his design of
St. Benedict’s Monastery in Snowmass CO won the prestigious
AIA national award for religious architecture. Mr.
Conger received a BFA, Magna Cum Laude, from Amherst College. His
Masters Degree came from the Yale Architecture School in
1979. |
